Halim Zeghdoudi is a full professor of mathematics specializing in probability, statistics, and actuarial science, with a PhD in Probability and an HDR in Actuarial Science and Statistics. His academic career spans over two decades of teaching and research at leading Algerian universities, complemented by international visiting appointments. His research focuses on stochastic orders, actuarial risk theory, credibility models, stochastic processes, time series, and the development of new probability distributions with applications in insurance, finance, epidemiology, and reliability. He has published over 67 research documents, received 577 citations, and holds an h-index of 13. His work has earned national academic distinction and sustained international recognition.
