Dr. Eng. Ionuț M. Bunescu is an aerospace engineer and researcher specializing in aerodynamics, CFD, and wind tunnel experimentation. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and currently serves as Head of the General Aerodynamics Unit at INCAS Bucharest. His research focuses on unsteady aerodynamics, roll and pitch damping, aircraft stability, and multidisciplinary optimization. He has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications with an h-index of 3, more than 20 documents, and 26 citations. His work has earned national awards and a registered patent, contributing significantly to experimental and numerical aerospace research.
