Dr. Rashid Ahmad | Physics and Astronomy | Research Excellence Award
University of Malakand | Pakistan
Dr. Rashid Ahmad is a Ph.D. physicist and Lecturer in the Department of Physics at the University of Malakand, Pakistan, specializing in quantum optics and quantum electrodynamics. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics (Quantum Optics) from the University of Malakand, following an M.Phil. in Quantum Information and an M.Sc. with distinction in Physics. With peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, a cumulative impact factor, Scopus-indexed documents, and an established h-index and citation record, his research focuses on coherent control of Casimir forces, quantum vacuum effects, temporal cloaking, nonlinear optics, and surface plasmon polaritons. He has received international research recognition, IRSIP scholarship support, and serves as an HEC-approved Ph.D. supervisor.
