Demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning, she also obtained an M.Sc. in Clinical Human Anatomy from the National University-Sudan in 2020.

She held the position of Assistant Professor at Al-Ghad International Colleges for Applied and Medical Sciences in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 2017 to 2019. Since August 2019, Dr. Hamd has been a faculty member at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, where she was promoted to Associate Professor in June 2023.
