Dr. Yousif is an accomplished academic professional with over nine years of teaching experience in Business Management and Human Resources, combined with 14 years of relevant industry experience. His academic background includes a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and an MBA from Western Governors University. Dr. Yousif is actively engaged in applied research, with several publications in recognized journals, and has presented research at multiple international conferences. He is committed to providing a student-centric learning environment and is involved in the AACSB accreditation process.

Dr. Yousif Abdelrahim’s educational journey reflects a strong commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in February 2019. This advanced degree, recognized by the AACSB and national accreditation bodies, provided him with a deep theoretical and practical understanding of business administration. Prior to his doctoral studies, Dr. Abdelrahim completed his MBA at Western Governors University in July 2014, a program known for its regional and national accreditation. His foundational education was completed with a Bachelor of Science degree from Kuwait University in June 1996, which established his initial expertise in the field. Dr. Yousif Abdelrahim possesses a diverse and extensive professional background, blending academic and industry expertise. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), a role he has held since August 2019. In this position, Dr. Abdelrahim contributes significantly to both teaching and research, utilizing his expertise to guide students through various management disciplines and engage in applied research that aligns with national priorities, particularly Saudi Vision 2030.

Before his tenure at PMU, Dr. Abdelrahim was a Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from September 2016 to July 2019. There, he engaged in high-level research and academic activities, contributing to the university’s research output and academic development.

His earlier career includes notable industry experience, including his role as Vice President at Optimal Inc. Business Services & Optimal Insurance & Consulting Services in Columbus, GA, USA, from 2009 to 2015. In this capacity, Dr. Abdelrahim managed key operations and strategic initiatives, demonstrating his leadership and management skills. Prior to this, he served as a Quality Controller & Plant Manager at Al-Wasmi Bottled Water Company in Dubai, UAE, from 2003 to 2009, and as an Operations Manager at Health Mineral Water Co. in Ajman, UAE, from 1997 to 2003. These roles provided him with valuable insights into operational management and quality control, further enhancing his practical understanding of business processes.
