Oleg Tsuprykov was born in 1982 in Ukraine. He pursued his early education in Ukraine, where he displayed a strong aptitude for the sciences. In 2005, he graduated with distinction from the State Medical Maxim Gorki University in Donetsk, earning a degree in Medicine and the qualification of a physician. His academic journey continued at the National P.-L.-Shupik Medical Academy for Postgraduate Education, where he completed his internship in clinical laboratory diagnostics in 2007.

From August 2007 to March 2009, Tsuprykov was a fellow in the Early Stage Research Training Programme at the Center for Cardiovascular Research, Charité Campus Mitte, Berlin. Here, he worked on cardiovascular disease mechanisms under the guidance of Prof. Hocher and Prof. Kappert. In March 2009, he completed a course on laboratory animals and experiments.

Doctoral Research

In April 2009, he began his doctoral research at the Center for Cardiovascular Research, Charité Campus Mitte.
