María Riaza Montes is a dedicated Spanish urologist whose clinical and academic journey reflects a strong commitment to excellence in urological care, research, and medical education. She currently serves as an Assistant Urologist at Galdakao-Usansolo University Hospital and Quirónsalud Bizkaia Hospital, while also contributing her expertise to the field of andrology through her work with ANDROMEDI. Her professional focus spans advanced diagnostic and therapeutic approaches across the breadth of urologic and uro-oncologic conditions. Dr. Riaza Montes completed her medical degree at the University of Navarra, followed by an exceptional Urology Residency (MIR) at Galdakao University Hospital, where she graduated with an outstanding score of 9.85. Her academic portfolio is further distinguished by a comprehensive suite of specialized qualifications from CEU San Pablo University, including a Master’s Degree in Uro-oncology and multiple University Expert Titles covering renal, adrenal, retroperitoneal, prostate, testicular, penile, and urothelial cancers. These programs provided her with advanced training in diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term follow-up of complex oncological pathologies, reflecting her profound interest in precision urologic oncology. Her growing leadership in medical education is demonstrated through her role in resident supervision and her service as a tutor for medical students at the University of Deusto.
