He began his career as a mathematics and pedagogy instructor in various Teachers’ Training Institutes across Ethiopia from 1990 to 2001. His role as a Lecturer in Education and Psychology, Department Head, and Coordinator of the Adult and Distance Education Resource Center (ADRC) at Haramaya University started in April 2001. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor of Education and Curriculum Studies and the Director for Academic Programs at Haramaya University.
