Dr. Marish Kumar P’s academic journey began with a strong foundation in electrical engineering. He completed his B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering in 2003, followed by an M.Tech. in Power Electronics and Drives from SRM Institute of Science and Technology in 2005. His passion for renewable energy led him to pursue a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Anna University, where he specialized in standalone photovoltaic systems for water pumping applications, graduating in 2020.

📚Professional Endeavors and Teaching Excellence

With nearly two decades of experience in professional teaching, Dr. Kumar has imparted knowledge in subjects such as Power Electronics, Digital Logic Circuits, and Renewable Energy Systems. His teaching career includes roles as an Associate Professor at SRM Easwari Engineering College, Chennai since 2015, and previous positions at Jaya Engineering College, Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, LCR College of Engineering and Technology, and T.J. Institute of Technology. His expertise and dedication have significantly contributed to shaping the careers of many students.

Dr. Kumar’s research is centered on renewable energy, power electronics, and control systems. His Ph.D. thesis focused on the performance improvement of photovoltaic systems for water pumping, analyzing various PV array configurations and the efficiency of MPPT controllers.
