Dr. Maria Paula do Amaral Alegria Guedes de Pinho, commonly known as PGP, is a distinguished researcher and academic in the field of cancer metabolomics. She holds a prominent position at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Porto University (FFUP) and is affiliated with UCIBIO – Applied Molecular Biosciences Unit.

- Project No. 30388-SAICT 2017-ACCUSED: “RenAl Cell Carcinoma Detection Renal Cancer detection: a translational metabolomics research based on Volatile Organic Compounds fingerprinting”, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the Portugal 2020 Program, with a budget of €239,499.09 (2018-2021) (Principal Investigator).
Editorial and Evaluator Roles
PGP holds editorial board positions in five international journals and is actively involved as a member of scholarship and research project evaluation committees. She is also part of the Agência de Investigação Clínica e Inovação Biomédica (AICIB) and unCAN.eu Delphi group, contributing to the advancement of biomedical innovation and clinical research.
