Tah Pascar Tagwan is an accounting and sustainability researcher with strong interdisciplinary training in finance, accounting, and data analytics. His academic background spans taught and research-focused master’s degrees, equipping him with both theoretical depth and empirical research skills. His scholarly interests center on sustainability accounting, ESG and SDGs, impact materiality, resource management, sustainability reporting, spatial inequality, and the intersection of accounting and environmental outcomes. His research has appeared in reputable international journals, including work on corporate financing behavior and societal secrecy, as well as sustainability-focused studies on off-grid electrification initiatives in developing economies. In addition to published articles, he is actively developing working papers that examine earnings pressure and emissions performance, as well as socioeconomic and ICT determinants of women’s financial inclusion in Africa. His research employs advanced quantitative and qualitative methods, utilizing tools such as Stata, SAS, R, and Nvivo. Tah has accumulated substantial teaching and research experience at leading institutions, serving as a senior graduate teaching assistant in financial, cost, and management accounting, where he has supported course delivery, assessment design, and student mentoring. His research roles have involved large-scale data collection, econometric analysis, literature synthesis, and academic peer review support. Complementing his academic profile, he has professional experience in auditing and accounting across diverse industries, alongside membership in recognized international accounting bodies. Through his research, teaching, and professional engagement, Tah Pascar Tagwan demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing sustainability-oriented accounting scholarship and evidence-based policy discussions.
