His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a Master’s degree in Power Electronics & Industrial Drives at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, where he graduated with distinction, securing an impressive 84.2% in 2006. Driven by a passion for renewable energy, he completed his Ph.D. in Renewable Energy & Electrical Machine from St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research in 2018. His thesis focused on “Wind driven self-excited induction generators with three stages special stator winding for standalone applications.”

Dr. Raj’s professional career has been primarily associated with Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai, where he has progressed through various academic ranks. Starting as a Lecturer in February 2007, he was promoted to Senior Lecturer in January 2009.
