Muhammad Asad Latif is a dedicated research fellow whose interdisciplinary scholarship spans Islamic studies, theological filmography, sociology of religion, media studies, feminist theology, and Middle Eastern studies. With one forthcoming book under contract with Brill, he has already established himself as a prolific academic voice, contributing numerous articles to national and international peer-reviewed and impact-factor journals. His research consistently aims to advance nuanced interpretations of religion and society while engaging critically with modern cultural and ideological narratives. Throughout his career, Muhammad Asad has demonstrated strong academic excellence, earning six competitive research grants and scholarships from prestigious institutions such as Springer Nature and Brill (Netherlands). He has also been recognized with an award from IntechOpen (London) for an outstanding book chapter contribution, highlighting his growing influence within interdisciplinary religious scholarship. In addition to his research contributions, he plays an active role in academic mentoring by serving as a research supervisor at a private academic consultancy. In this capacity, he guides early-career scholars in developing strong methodological practices, ethical research standards, and impactful scholarly output.
